HISTORY
- Founded in 1973 under the name of Erdim Lathe in order to do machining works, our company started to work as a sub-industry of Arçelik A.Ş. since 1981.
- It served until 1992 with 13 machines and 20 personnel in its workplace located in Pendik. In 1992, Erdim Lathe was liquidated. During this period, Tekkan Plastik Kalıp Sanayi LTD. was established in 1989 to carry out Plastic Injection works in 1989. 1991 In 1998, Tekkan moved from its place in Pendik and started to serve in Kartal Sade Industrial Site.
- Our company, which started production with 1 Plastic Injection machine in 1989, continued to work in Plastic Injection and assembly works with 14 Plastic Injection machines and 40 experienced staff.
- Tekkan, Arçelik A.Ş. As an auxiliary industry, since 1998, it has aimed to serve in the factory building with a closed area of 3000 m2 on 5000 m2 in Tepeören Mermerciler Industrial Site and moved to its new location in 1998.
- Washing machine front cover groups, kick guards are our two main products.1999 In the middle of the year, it increased its machine park to 18 plastic injection machines and the number of employees to 75 people.
- Our company continued its activities with 107 personnel and 16 plastic injection machines in 2006, and increased it to 141 personnel and 21 injection machines in 2011.
- Our company continues its activities with more than 400 personnel and high technology injection machines since those years. Tekkan, which has established its second facility in the same organized industry, has doubled its business volume.
- Tekkan Plastik Ltd. Şti. has become Tekkan Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. as of 06.07.2018.
