SHORT HİSTORY
Established for executing machining manufacturing business in 1973 as Erdim Torna, our firm started to work as a sub-industry of Arçelik inc. since 1981
It provided service with 13 machines, and 20 personnel in the workplace at Pendik until 1992. In 1992 Erdim Tonka went into liquidation. In the meantime, to execute plastic injection services Tekkan Plastic Mold Industry CO. LTD. was established in 1989. In 1991, it transferred from Pendik and started providing services in Kartal Sade Industrial Estate.
Starting production with 1 plastic injection machine in 1989, our firm continued its plastic injection and montage services with 14 plastic injection machines and 40 experienced employees.
As the sub-industry of Arçelik INC., since 1998, Tekkan aimed to service in factory premises on 5000m2 with 3000m2 confined space in Tepeören Mermerciler Industrial Estate and it moved to its new place in 1998.
The front casing of the laundry machine and kickplates are our two main products. In the midst of 1999, the frame parkour is increased to 18 plastic injection frames and the employee number is raised to 75 personnel.
Our operation continued its work with 107 personnel and 16 plastic injection frames in 2006, these numbers raised to 141 personnel and 21 injection frames in 2011
From those years to the present, our operation continues its activities with more than 400 personnel and a considerable amount of high-tech injection frames. Establishing its second facility in the same organized industry, Tekkan redoubled its business volume.
As of the date of 06.07.2018, Tekkan Plastic CO. LTD. became Tekkan Industry and Commerce INC.
